DDH is now a $20M+ company!! Shipments through August
were $16.2M, surpassing the $15.2M shipped in all
of 1999. $2.5M was shipped in August alone. This
growth of 59% over 1999 required our team to grow
from 95 in December '99 to over 135 today. It also
impacted our on-time service levels in February,
March and April. With a lot of hard work we recovered
and are back to 95%+. Thanks Tony and the Team.
Our
production team has been busy. CONGRATULATIONS!!:

Dutek--Opens
for Business
|
In July, after completion of construction of 2248
Oak Ridge Way, Dutek opened for business. This new
DDH sister company is specializing in Printed Circuit
Board Assembly and mechanical assembly for current
DDH clients. In September, through an asset purchase
of G&M Assembly of Oceanside, Dutek added surface
mount capabilities to it's through-hole operation.
Thanks to Pyxis and their mini-drawer assembly,
Dutek is off to a great start with 23 people as
of this writing. Key players at Dutek are GM Marvin
Munster, Materials/Account Manager Phil Woods and
James "Long" Nguyen.
At
a staff dinner in late August, CEO David Du announced
the following promotions:
Chuck Rabel is now Vice President along with his
current GM duties.
Tony Du, is now Director of Operations.
Les Odom, is now Director of Materials.
